Creating a Contact Us page
To create a Contact Us page so it looks like shown on our demo preview you have to perform the following steps:
- In the Joomla! admin panel go to the "Components -> Contacts" and press the "New" button in the top right corner;
- In the "Name" field type the menu title;
- In the "Category" choose the category name, default: Sample Data-Contact;
- Press the "Save & Close" button in the top right corner of the page to save your contact.
- Create a new menu item. In the Joomla! admin panel go to the "Menus -> Your Menu" and press the "New" button in the top right corner;
- Press on the "Select" button next to the "Menu Item Type" field and choose the "Single Contact" from the "Contacts" list;
- In the "Menu Title" field type the menu title;
- In the "Menu Location" choose your menu;
- In the "Required Setting" section choose created in Step 1 contact;
- In the "Contact Display Options" section choose the "Plain" from the "Display format" list and the "Hide" for all other lists.
- In the "Page Display Options" put the "Show Page Heading" to "No"
- Press the "Save & Close" button in the top right corner of the page.
