No, the quick-start package cannot be installed on the existing joomla installation. First you have to delete all joomla files and then install the package like regular Joomla installation.

i have a little issue. If you look at my site at the menu item "Chi Siamo" there are 3 submenu items. The drop down menu has a little malfunction. When the drop down menu get off and you move from top to bottom the drop down menu it often disappear when you reach the third item and you can't click on "Yearbook" voice.

language / en-GB / en-GB.tpl_as002070.ini
and
language / en-GB / en-DE.tpl_as002061.ini
TPL_COM_CONTENT_READ_MORE = "Continue"
TPL_COM_CONTENT_MORE = "continue"
TPL_COM_CONTENT_READ_MORE_TITLE = "Continue"
in which file the templates I can change the displayed text of "read more"?

Can you please provide us with an access to your Joomla admin panel for checking this issue? The info please put in the Special info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.
My host provider decided to upgrade php version from php 5.3 to php 5.4 Unfortunately without any given notice before the upgrade.
Hopefully everything is working except two things.
1) When I enter the joomla control panel I face the below notice
"Error
Your host needs to disable magic_quotes_gpc to run this version of Joomla!"
2) And the most important is that when i tried to associate a link to a pdf file from the editor, quotes automatically applied to url. As a result the url drives the user to a link that doesn't exists. I tried also from the html editor without any luck.
Can you please help on this?

When the drop down menu get off, the drop down menu get under image on the articles pages. You can try to select "motion capture" from the main page and select second menu link.
