Joomla! Template 002036 - Item Support

Hi

I'm stuck on how to change the colour-scheme of this template.

As I understand it I need to make some updates in the css files on the server and also update the images in the PSD file that's provided, and then reload them onto the server.

But - how do I know what the image names are so I can replace them with the new versions I'm creating? Also - I'm competent using PSD, but not sure if I need to crop each element before saving, eg menu bg - or just turn off the layers of the other elements and keep the image in it's original format. Because the PSD file isn't sliced, I can't do a quick save of everything at once.

Finally, regarding the css edits, do you have a list of where the colour changes are? Or do I just need to go through and try to work it out through trial and error?

Any help you can provide would be amazing. This is my first time creating a website and although I'm pretty quick learner - this is going to take forever without some guidance! If you don't have details, it would be great if you could point me in the direction of some useful reading material (CSS 101 type stuff).

Thanks!
Hello KEEKSLALA,
You must to have some knowledge in building/editing websites, as well good knowledge in Joomla. You can find a lot of materials in Internet for Web developers, as well you can always ask for our customization services using the following page:

I've been able to teach myself a lot of this, but can't find where exactly in ext.asmenu.css that I change the menu button colours (the green ones that appear on the page you're on and when you hover over other menu items). Can you please let me know where to find this in the css file?

Thanks
Hello KEEKSLALA,
What is your site url please, we will check it and let you know.

The site is kiraflanagan.com.au, but it's not live at the moment. Do you need some log in details?
I think I've found it! By accident - I still have no idea where I made the change - seems to be a delay with my cache clearing and the changes appearing..

Thanks for now - hopefully I can work out the rest. Will let you know if I run into any more issues :)
Sorry - me again!
I've almost changed everything but can't seem to find where to change the light green colour in the top of the background. There's also a light cream colour that sits with this in the top right corner of the menu pages. Please help - it's driving me nuts!
Hello KEEKSLALA,
It looks like you have to edit the background image: images/bg.body.png

Hi! Where can I change the colour of the little green circle that indicates the number/order of the sliders and which one's displaying. Sorry - probably a terrible description...
Hello KEEKSLALA,
You can do it in the 'as002036/css/ext.artslider.css' file in the following classes:

.camera_wrap .camera_pag .camera_pag_ul li
{
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #fff;
border-radius: 5px;
cursor: pointer;
display: inline-block;
height: 12px;
margin: 0 5px 0 0;
position: relative;
text-indent: 9999px;
width: 12px;
}

.camera_wrap .camera_pag .camera_pag_ul li.cameracurrent, .camera_wrap .camera_pag .camera_pag_ul li:hover {
background-color: #92aa33;
}

Hi
I'm so close to being able to publish my website, but there are a few things I just can't seem to resolve. Firstly, I followed your instructions from 12 July, but the green hover circle in the slider hasn't update. The instruction was:
You can do it in the 'as002036/css/ext.artslider.css' file in the following classes:

.camera_wrap .camera_pag .camera_pag_ul li
{
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #fff;
border-radius: 5px;
cursor: pointer;
display: inline-block;
height: 12px;
margin: 0 5px 0 0;
position: relative;
text-indent: 9999px;
width: 12px;
}

.camera_wrap .camera_pag .camera_pag_ul li.cameracurrent, .camera_wrap .camera_pag .camera_pag_ul li:hover {
background-color: #92aa33;
}

Also - I can't work out how to update the colour of buttons, including readmore. I've read from other posts to update is in the psd file, but I don't know what the name of the image is that I need to swap out. I've searched and searched and it's stumped me. Can you point me in the right direction?
One more thing... (hopefully)
I've inserted logo images into the content section for some modules and the shadow of the images has an orange tint. I've searched the css files but can't seem to find where to update that colour.. Any suggestions?

So you're saying you can't direct me to where this change needs to be made?
Hello KEEKSLALA,
All changes should be done in the template's css files, or you can create your own css and put it in the style.custom.css file.
