I have just purchased this template and installed it, there is nothing in there except just a banner saying home. its just me? do I need to do lots of programming work? why its not like the demo so I can change modules and menus. Please let me know.

you have 2 options:
1.manually , that what you did
2.using quickstart package as002046_quickstart.zip . (just use it like regular joomla 3 package, unzip it first, upload it on your server and install it, do not forget install simple data) .

Its ok now, but only text company name working, when I upload the logo its going back to the template logo.

How to remove the google map in contact us page pls? also what was the default demo font for logo, headings and body please? i was changing the logo font all slider fonts changed and its gone big.

This template has 6 color styles, so it was designed with option choosing logo for each style.
In your case you have to change the logo.png image in
/templates/as002046/images/styles/sky/ file.
