HI, how is it possible to change the main color of the template aside from editing the css files. If it not possible can you specify the files i need to edit? Thank you.

The template does not have such parameters, the color should be changed by editing css files only. You can easy determinate the file which should be changed and the css class by installing and using Mozilla or Opera Fireblug plugin:
