Joomla! Template 002058 - Item Support

Hello AS Templates_Team,

i have two problems:

1. If I change the image size in the editor, it will not be adjusted in the frontend. Why? If I change the line 274 in style.default.css:
. item_img img,
. category_img img,
. item_fulltext img,
. random image img,
aside. intro__left img img
aside. intro__right img img
{
width: 350px;
}

then the image is displayed with 350px. When I say "width: auto", the image is displayed in full size.

2. If I create a table with border in the editor, I see no border in the frontend.
Hello SRICHTER,

1. It is because the template has responsive design, all images will be adjusted accordingly to device screen, accept in cases where you have image width property in css classes.
2. This template is fully based on HTML5 elements, we are not using any tables in our templates, as result there is no css, in your case you have to write your own css or ask for our services.

Hi,
seems to be something odd with the Template Manager: Edit Style
Changing colors of fonts does not work.
also, how to change the blue background? there is no option to do this.
can you help please?
thanks and regards
Per Norrgren
Hello PNORRGREN,
In the template manager you can change link colors only.
The blue color you can change by editing tmpl.default.css file the following class:

#header-top-wrapper {
background-color: #172236;
background-image: url("../images/bg.header.shadow.png");
background-position: center top;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
z-index: 10000;
}

Hi and good morning,
just bought your lovely template .. and have couple of questions:

1. top menu --- is not like the demo one http://www.astemplates.com/itempreview/209

What do I do to to get the correct style sheet

2. what social extension do you use for the demo site

3. what module do you have in position 6?

thank you
Eva
Hello VERTICAL,
In case to have everythig works like our demo preview you have to install this template using quick-start installation package, after installing this package your site will look exact like our demo preview page and it will be easy for you to make changes in the content and preview parameters and settings of all extensions/components used in this template, please see the following page for more info:

Keep getting this error with Quickstart

JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

Tried manually directly to server, but giving me database errors, so would prefer using Quickstart

Hello PNORRGREN,
It looks like you do not have permissions to change files on your server, please see the following topic, hope it will help you:
http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=624&t=591401

On our side we are able to edit the css without any problem. You have to check the permissions or CHMOD ownership of the files.

I have a pre-existing site. I purchased this template assuming there would be some basic instructions to get the ultra nifty features working.

Obviously, I can not just install the quickstart package.

I managed to install the template, and all 7 extensions - the "mod_articles_single" extension had an error in the xml but that was easily corrected.

I've used some guesswork to figure out which extensions get assigned to which positions. However, I am at a loss as to what to do next to configure it to look like the beautiful template on this site.

My thanks for your help, in advance.

P.S.
In mod_articles_single, the file 'mod_articles_single.xml' needed the filepath in the languages section to be changed from "language" to "languages"
