Joomla! Template 002044 - Item Support

Hello,
I purchased the AS002044 template for a Joomla 3.3.6 site. The images in the articles appear with a rounded-corner rectangular background and some shadowing. Is there a way to just have the images without any background. Thanks.
Hello DAGR2014,
What is your site url please, we will check it and let you know what you have to change in case to remove rounded corners and shadowing.

Regards, AS Team.
The site is in construction, temporarily in a sub-domain. I don't want the site to be publicly visible yet. Is there an email where I can send you the URL?
Thanks
Hello DAGR2014,
You can put it in the Special info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.

Regards, AS Team.
OK, thanks. I put the url up on my account details.
Hello DAGR2014,
In the tmpl.default.css file please find the following class (line 463):

.mod-custom img,
.item_img img,
.category_img img,
.item_fulltext img,
.random-image img,
aside .img-intro__left img,
aside .img-intro__right img
{
background-color: #ffffff;
border-radius: 20px;
box-shadow: 1px 1px 2px #9cc0cc;
padding: 1px;
}

and delete border-radius and box-shadow lines.

Regards, AS Team.
That did the trick. Many thanks AS team for the good technical support.
Hello,

I'm having trouble changing the fonts of the main menu on my website. I have AS_Menu module at as-position-1, but any changes to font aspects (type, size, color) in the "Menu Options" tab of this module have no effect. I can change the font aspects on non-menu items just fine. Any help appreciated. I'd like to avoid altering the template's css/html/php code if possible.

Thanks.
Hello DAGR2014,
You can change it in the ext.asmenu.css file in the following class:

.navigation #as-menu ul.as-menu > li.active > a,
.navigation #as-menu ul.as-menu > li:hover > a,
.navigation #as-menu ul.as-menu > li.asHover > a,
.navigation #as-menu ul.as-menu > li.current > a,
.navigation #as-menu ul.as-menu > li.active > span,
.navigation #as-menu ul.as-menu > li.asHover > span,
.navigation #as-menu ul.as-menu > li.current > span
{
background-color: #2594ba;
border: 0 none;
border-radius: 0 0 25px 25px;
color: #fff;
}

Regards, AS Team.
OK, thanks. I was able to edit the css file to suit.
Hi,
How can I check which version of the 002044 template I have installed on my? (I purchased the template back in October 2014).

Also, on Android mobiles, the content articles stop right before the elliptic blue block image at the foot of the webpage, which is good. However, on Windows (FFox & IE latest versions) the same text runs over onto the blue elliptic image. Is there anything I can do to stop this on Windows?

Thanks

Hello DAGR2014,
The template version you can see in the 'templates/as002044/templateDetails.xml' file.
On which page we can see the problem please?

Regards, AS Team.
Hello,
I have version 2.0.0 according to the xml file. To upgrade, can I just download the latest version?

The footer over-run problem doesn't show up as I added a few 'p' and 'br/' characters at the end of each article to stop it happening, but you can see it if you click on the "News & events menu.
Thanks
Hello DAGR2014,
Yes, you can download the latest version from your AS account and replace files accordingly to the following page:
http://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-news/157-002044

It seems you do not have css for the installed extension, or it maybe the installed css overrides the template's css files. Sorry, we can't help you in this case, we are not able to provide support to extensions which are not included in the package.

Regards, AS Team.
Thanks. I updated the template.

I also uninstalled the old slider with AS Slider but I just get the round circle cursor and nothing being displayed. The footer over-run is still there in Windows.
Hello DAGR2014,
Please provide us with an access to your Joomla admin panel for checking the issue with your slider, the access info please put in the Special info area under your purchased items section of your AS account.

Regarding the issue with the footer, as we explained in our previous post, you do not have css for the installed extension, or maybe the css of the extension overrides the template's css files. Sorry, we can't help you in this case, we are not able to provide support to extensions which are not included in the package, but you make ask for our customization services using the following page:
http://www.astemplates.com/customservices

Regards, AS Team.
Thanks. I put the login info into my account. I already updated the _edit.php file.

(No worries, I'll edit the template for the footer issue).
Hello DAGR2014,
Sorry, we cannot connect to the admin panel: 'Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.'

Regards, AS Team.
That's strange, as I can log in to my site with the username and password given in my account here. Note the caps on the "AS" part of the username.
Hello DAGR2014,
Now we was able to login :) We checked your site, the problem is that the articles under category News and Events do not have any intro images.

The extension shows article's intro image with the article title and intro text, please set intro images accordingly to the extension documentation: http://www.astemplates.com/joomla-extension-documentation/165-as-artslider
