The extension allows you to display article's intro image, it means you have to change it in the articles Images and Links section, these articles you can find under Slider category.
My slider images were running at the start, but suddenly stopped. I can't understand.

Unzip the package and upload the _item.php file in 'modules/mod_as_artslider/tmpl' folder on your server.

I really want to use this 2040 template for our real estate office, but I have questions about how the admin backend area works to add/delete/move/recategorize new listings. Is there a specific component or module for this? Is there info on this somewhere?
on multilingual site, after installation of template, with site language set to different from default one, pressing on logo's link, it redirects you to default language page, which is mistake as language should remain unchanged (see ex. test.allbooking.com.ua).
How and in what file this can be fixed?

Well, no template at all, just joomla 3 from official site. Then I made multilingual setup on it, and after that applied your template.

It looks like you have some problems with your Joomla, even after changing the default template to 'beez3' or 'protostar' it still showing '002040'. We just can suggest to you reinstall it using our quick-start installation package.

Joomla doesnt change it to 'beez3' or 'protostar' because these templates are not assigned to UA or RU menu shown on frontend.
