many thanks for your help - but the instruction site doesn't solve my problem: i did the following:
- reinstalling the as-menu extension (just to be sure...)
- checked all menu-settings and verified, that the are according to your instructions...
still, my menu won't show the subs...
another question would be, where i can change the color for the menu-items? especially the rollover-color and the background would be nice...
tks again!
best regards
michael

Hello MMUENGER,
The menu item colors you can change by editing
as002062/css/ext.asmenu.css file or you can add your css in the style.custom.css file.
i tried to investigate if one of my actions during the construction process of my new page ended up in destroying the "submenu" and the "picture-sorting" settings in your template. therefore i installed the template on another server with the same technologies.
- first i installed joomla 3.2.4 (update, directly from sever) -> everything stll working!
- then i installed joomla 3.3 (update, directly from server) -> everything still working!
- to add some gallerys in my articles, i installed the "droppics" component (-> http://www.joomunited.com/products/droppics) & the themes for droppics -> everything still working!
-> finally, i added the plugin "videobox"
now, after these changes i tested your template again through and through - everything works fine! no idea, where my animations got lost...
so, i still need your help...
,-))
tks & regards!

Hello MMUENGER,
In this case our suggestion is completely reinstall the template using quick-start package or it should be checked by our developers: http://www.astemplates.com/installationservices
so this means that i can only use your template if i strictly follow the structures you have constructed for it?
-> changing these seems to result in loss of functionality...
best regards
michael
ps: i linked the database to another of your qs-installations (same template): the error seems to be in the db: even a clean-install of your qs-package results in not showing the submenus and the animations on "home"...

Hello MMUENGER,
But everything works fine in the previous installation, it means that something was corrupted during making changes in Joomla admin panel.
tks for your reply - but it doesn't actually answer my question. therefore i try again:
so this means that i can only use your template if i strictly follow the structures you have constructed for it?
so...?
tks in advance!

Hello MMUENGER,
Only in case if you would like to see it like our demo preview, but you are welcome to make any changes and in this case our support team can't help you.
this is a follow-up to my issue listed above: i acccidentially found the reason for the bugs in the menu and the masonry gallery!
there is a plugin called "videobox" which enables to insert a link to a youtube-video. you can find the plugin here: http://hitko.eu/software/videobox
installing the plugin doesn't affect any functionallity - but activating the part "system - videobox" results in playing the videos - but also in the errors i described in my former posts: masonry gallery and the as-menu (submenus) aren't working anymore...
best regards!

Hello MMUENGER,
We are sorry, we are not able to provide support for any third party extensions, but you can ask for our services, our developers have to check if it is possible to resolve this issue: http://www.astemplates.com/developmentservices
first: this was not to get any support from you - it was just a feedback...
;-))
anyway: i would be thankful if you can help me with another issue: how can i get several modules (3 to 5) to show in the template position 30 (footer)? i would like them to show side by side - like your modules mentioned below...
somehow you must have managed it (position 30 is showing two modules in quickstart installation: "contact us" and "customer reviews" - but i can't figure out how...
best regards!

Hello MMUENGER,
You have to set bootstrap column size for each of your module, this parameter can be found under module advanced parameters tab. For example: if you would like to put 3 modules in 3 columns in position 30 the bootstrap size should be 4, maximum 12 columns.
again thanks for your reply: but there is no drop-down box in the module where i can change to "multiple categories"
i'm using the News Show Pro GK4 module directly from your template: in the section "data-source" -> categories is only one categroy available to choose.
as i sorted my gallerys into different subcategories, i woult like to specify the category "gallery" which, in itselfs, doesn't contain articles! therefore i would like to include my several subcats...
I am looking at making a few changes to this template and want to know just how difficult they will be:
- If there is an option to change the colour theme? I basically want to change all text and backgrounds that are red to another colour such as green or blue.
- Is it complicated to select to use the home option 2 instead of the standard one?
- Can the 'you are here' bar under the images on the home page simply be turned off?
- If for example I wanted to not have history in the 'about' drop down does turning off that article remove the heading from the drop down? Or is there another process involving the coding?
- I notice the map in contacts defaults to satellite view, is this adjustable to default to map view?
- Is the logo provided in Photoshop to edit?
Sorry for all the questions. I appreciate your time.
Kind Regards,
Todd.

Hello TODDJAMES,
- There is no such option, but you can do it by changing css files, it is easy if you have some knowledge in css and html.
- No, you will need to select home style 2 as your default page and unpublish home style 1 in your Joomla admin panel.
- Yes, you have to unpublish it in module manager.
- Just unpublish all not necessary items in menu item manager

first i like to thank you for your helpful reply!
then i got another question regarding the module "customer reviews" (position 30): is there any possibility to include subcategories?
best regards
michael
The drop-down box has option to choose multiple categories: Ctrl + Left click.
