i uploaded this template the way it says in the "how to" and when i fill up the basic information, it doesn't go to the next page. it doesn't even show me any error!! what should i do?

All changes you have to make in the tmpl.default.css file, for example in the following class you may to change background color:
#main-container {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7);
border-top: 5px solid #E92240;
padding: 80px 0;
}
But probably you will need to make changes in other classes as well, or you can create your own css and put it in the style.custom.css file.
