I have two questions:
First:
How can i change the background image of the header?
I have changed it in the template settings (Style/Header Layout/Background Image), the preview (hovering over the eye symbol) is displayed correctly.
But the site always displays the default background image, no matter what the Background image setting is set to.
Second:
I want to use submenus, they are configured but they are not displayed.
Is there anything ese i need to configure to use submenus?

The background image you have to check here:

You have to leave the same image name.

Our suggestion is to install this template using quick-start installation package, after installing the package your site will look exact like our demo preview page it will be easy for you to make changes in the content, preview all parameters and settings, the package installation will save days of your time. The quick-start package is actually the template documentation. If by some reason you can't install it on your live server you can install on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all settings.

Now back on this project.
I did replace the background images as you said, now it shows up but its scaled wrong. I only can see the upper left corner of my image, its ~1400px width but it becomes upsacled by the template.
It seems that the "hardcoded" solution isnt the correct one since there is already an interface to do the change of the background image but it just dont work.
As for the menus: i did follow the installation instructions included in the template file. The demo data are present.
As for the Top Menu:
I want to have a side menu, not a top menu. Its located at the position is as-left-top. Submenus are configured but not shown.
Are cascaded menus supported?
Please help me, I'm trying to install the quickstart, I uploaded it through Filezilla, and extracted in a folder in the public_html, but every time I put the url it doesnt work.
