Hi,
in the Demo of the ecotech-Template there is a half-transparent box with text which lies over the pictures in the Gallery (e. g. "Green Buildings ..."). Also this box shows per default in the lower left corner.
How do I switch on these two settings? In the module settings I cannot find any option to do that.
Thanks,
Uwe

Hello CONSULTNET,
To achieve that, you need to edit the dj component. For a full documentation on how to do that, please follow this link http://dj-extensions.com/documentation/dj-imageslider

Hi,
I have tried to install the quickstart_ver2.zip to get a better understanding how the Demo has been setup (by the way: very nice job!).
But unfortunately I cannot get it done. Do I have to install the zip-file through the backend or simply unzip locally and then upload by ftp?
Thanks,
Uwe

Hello CONSULTNET,
The quickstart is to be uploaded to the root folder of your site, that is in the cpanel. Please do not install the quickstart via the Joomla admin panel since this will get you nowhere. It is only the template and other extensions that may be uploaded via the admin panel. You may use ftp to upload the quickstart. If you are working on localhost, unzip the quickstart and copy the files to your localhost root folder.
Thank you

Hi Delightgroup,
this refers to my first threat (Gallery).
I don't understand your answer as I do not use the dj-imageslider on my testsite (www.test.consultnet-ir.com). I use the Avatar Slide Galleria as you do in the ecotech-Demo. At least I assume that you use this module as it is part of the installation package. Could you please check again?
Thanks,
Uwe

Hi,
how do I deactivate the template's view that is generated for mobile devices like iPhone? I want our website to show up on mobile devices like in a regular browser.
Thanks,
Uwe

Hello CONSULTNET,
You do not have to apply additional settings for mobile view to be generated. Once a mobile device like an iphone, tablet, android or any mobile device is used to open the site, the mobile view is automatically generated. The template itself is responsive apart from the HOT login plugin. If you deactivate this plugin on your site, you will notice that the template is fully responsive.
Thank you

Hi,
I am referring to my question which I have posted on 2012-10-13. I need to deactivate (!) the layout for mobile devices. The layout might be responsive but I don't like the look at all. We want our webpage to look just normal as in any other web browser. And this not the case. E. g. the menus are shown in a special view for mobile devices.
In your answer you have explained that I don't have to apply additional settings for mobile view to be generated. But this is not the answer I need. I want to deactivate or switch off (!) the mobile view.
How would I do that?
Thanks,
Uwe
