Joomla! Template Support History - 002052

Hi,

I am trying to install the template using the quickstart installation, however the install link won't load in my browser. I get a

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error)

The apache log looks like this:

[Sun Dec 01 18:29:21 2013] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/var/www/sitename/includes/defines.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/sitename/index.php on line 28
[Sun Dec 01 18:29:21 2013] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: /var/www/sitename/favicon.ico

Line 28 in index.php is:
require_once JPATH_BASE . '/includes/defines.php';

Any idea what's wrong? Thanks.

Hello MILINA77,
The quick-start package should be installed in the same way like you are installing regular Joomla package, please see the following page for more info:

I followed the steps described in the link, however it doesn't work.
A fresh Joomla 3.2 install works perfectly, however.
