Hello ABCWORLD,
The error is normally caused by trying to install an extension which is not compatible with that version of Joomla. For your case, you are trying to install the quickstart package via Joomla admin panel. Please note that installing the quickstart this way NEVER WORKS. Please follow the instructions on how to install the quickstart package. If you already have a live site, you are only required to install the template file provided. Please open the files you downloaded and then after locating the relevant template for your version of Joomla, install it.
