Hello CBRANDENBURG,
Did you install the template over an existing Joomla site or you installed the quickstart package provided? If you did install over an existing Joomla site, it is possible that there are other extensions that are causing the conflict. Sometimes, incorrect editing of less files brings this error too.
I need to know info above before providing further guidance.
