Trying to install. Every time I publish, I get the following error.

Just checked it, works perfect, please be sure the extension size you have downloaded is: 135KB.

Yes. Actually it's showing 136KB. I have the same issue with your ASNivo Slider. Extension manager sais they installed correctly.

We made some changes, please download the package one more time, unzip it before installation and use extension for Joomla 2.5. Please let us know if you will have any problems.
