Since I had an unsightly view on my website after the update to J4 with the new template in the PhocaGallery.
I have set up a new test website to test where this problem comes from.
With this I have the identical problem - so it comes not from the update.
With the standard plugin of Joomla, the PhocaGallery works without errors and the images are displayed correctly.
I think you misunderstood me - this is not a customization request.
With the template I haved purchased, the screen is not correct.
With the standard template the screen is correct.
This means that there is a problem with the template and I ask you to check and fix it or tell me what I need to do to make it look good for the visitor with the paid template.

You have to use AS Superfish Menu which comes with the template package.
I tried to update to from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4 inside Joomla and it didn't work. Joomla said some components (e. g. Acymailing) should be updated before updating Joomla. I didn't find a newer version of Acymailing on their site. How do I update to Joomla 4? Do I have to renew the license of the template? Does this help without reinstalling the complete website and template? When should I switch to a newer PHP version? What should I do as a next step? Thank you very much.
it is not possible to edit text posts in the frontend under Joomla 4. The "edit button" is not displayed.
Any idea how to solve this problem?
I am Using PHP 8.1.27 and Joomla 4.4.2
Under Joomla 3 it still worked with this template.

I changed the PHP-version on my server from 7.4 to 8.1 and have following error message instead of the website:
Error: syntax error, unexpected token "&": Unsupported operand types: string + string
Any idea where to fix this?

With the AS template the images are too small, shifted and the back button appears too large in relation to the images.

It is not a custom request!
Please try to reproduce it by installing Phoca Gallery - you will see that the standard template is correct and that template not.

You need to renew the template license in case to get the latest template version for Joomla 4, Acymailing is included in the package.

thanks for your fast reply and build a new Template Version.
Unfortunately, the new version does not solve the problem.
Only when a superuser is logged in the edit buttons appear for all modules, but not for the posts to be edited.
If an administrator, editor or author is logged in, no edit buttons appear.
Please check the problem again with all user rights.
