I am trying to change the background color of the header pos-3 and pos-1 I have altered the jpeg. bg.wrapper and tried to find it in css. I did manage to alter the footer in Pos- 35 with css,

It seems some files during Joomla update were corrupted. Our suggestion is to download Joomla 3.4.8 version from joomla.org website and re-upload all files from administrator folder, just over the existing.
