I have set up the slider on my home page and set up everything as in the demo format that you have in the quick start. however when i click on the read more button it doesnt take me to the correct page i get a strange url like this http://www.rockschooldubai.com/index.php/63-slider-home/69-slider-article-2
and the page looks like a home page with the test displayed in the middle of the all the modules

You have to create menu items for your slider articles, then you will be able to manage modules assignment.

I has installed jomres into my joomla template (as template) and installation was successful, then I created jomres menu on menu item. But when I click the menu in front page, all page going to blank page.
is their a way to setup the read me button in AS slider can link to a category selection and not just open up a page.

also i cannot change the order in the slider i want it to be able to change the running order but cant seem to do that

The ordering you can change using 'Ordering' parameter under the slider Basic Options tab.
