Hello JACKMERX,
You can't install quick-start package via Joomla extension manager because it already has Joomla package, the package should be installed like regular Joomla installation, for more info please see the template documentation: http://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-documentation/238-002066

Or maybe is it because of this problem. My hostingprovider says:
For both the Web hosting as the Webhosting Plus package is the maximum execution time (charging / process time) limited to 30 seconds. This is due to unnecessary overloading of the virtual server itself in heavy processes.

I think I already figured out how it works what I can't get to work is the AS Artslider. how much to make it work? coz I really like to have a 3 images tp scroll please get back to as soon as you can would really appreciate it

Hello there,

How can I set new images for AS ArtSlider Splash background in Splash page?

I put new images in "....\images\sampledata\asimage\slider" but nothing happened.

Can anyone help me on this?

Hello MUSTLUFER,
The extension allows you to display article's intro image with the article title and intro text. If you installed this template using quick-start installation package you have to add new articles with intro images under Slider category.

Hello,

I am trying to edit the contacts page to show my businesses details. I am accessing it through the Menu Manager. Under the Main Menu section I select Contacts to edit it. When the page opens I then under the details tab click the edit button next to select contact. This opens in a new tab. If I try to save any changes under the contacts tab I get the error: Warning Field required: Name. As there is no name field that I can see how do I solve this. Apologies if I am being thick but I am completely new to Joomla.

If you installed this template using quick-start installation package the contact form you can edit in your Joomla admin panel -> Components -> Contacts -> Contact Us page.

You can do it by editing tmpl.default.css file the following class (line 2002):

Thanks for your suggestion. I have already used the joomla template to build my website. So what I like to do , is to install it on my local pc. I have installed XAMPP. Openend a new map in Localhost named Joomla and unzipped the quickstart in it. But now ik get these error messages:

I cannot proceed the first basis configuration of Joomla

I love this template and I'm just mocking up a sample site for a client but the menu seems to be a little broken. I've followed the installation instructions and module config guide but I still get short vertical white lines between some menu items and the menu strip is far too deep. is there a compatibility issue with the new versions of J3? I've tried it on v3.2.3 and v3.3.6
