As we suggested in one of our previous post you can ease determinate it by installing and using Firebug plugin.

Hello,
I replaced the bg.main.png with an updated lighter verion but it did not change the webpage.
I did use Firebug but selecting different elements on the page didn't show me bg.main.png element.

Hello,
When I click on any of the Our Services items located in position 30 on my site I get "404 - Component not found." I am basically using these same items in the main menu with no problem.

The color did change; I must have needed to completely refresh the page, normal refresh did not change it.
There is a separator that separates the header from the main menu, I would like to change its color; where is the image located and what is its name?
Also I would like to know the name and location of the read more boxes so I can change their color as well.

I have been able to get everything working except these:
1. On the 17th I asked about removing the Welcome group title and text. You responded stating that "Welcome is a featured article, you can find it in your Joomla admin panel -> Article Manager under Home category". I was able to unpost the article but the 'Welcome' group title is still appearing; how do I remove it? Did not see it in Firebug.
I still need answers to these two questions.

3. Also I would like to know the name and location of the read more boxes so I can change their color as well.

Hello CHARLESB,
1. The page heading you can edit/delete in your Joomla admin panel -> Menus -> Header Menu -> Home menu item -> Page Display, see Page Heading parameter.
2. Please see tmpl.default.css file the following class (line 1915):
