I had problems uploading the quickstart.zip file so have uploaded all unzipped files by ftp, am I missing something? Any suggestions?

Can you please tell me where the logo file should go for this template, also how do i add something to the top pink bar where the telephone number is?

Hello SBSOL101,
The logo goes to the module position "logo." To insert the logo, just create a custom html module, insert the logo image just as you would do in a Joomla article and assign it to the position "logo." Do not forget to show the module in all pages.
Regarding the second question, you will have to set the date to "yes" in the template admin panel. To display the phone number, create a custom html module and assign it to the positon "headerbar".
