Regarding the AS ArtSlider position 5; is it possible to hyperlink the image or text so an expanded article can be displayed? If so how?

The extension has an option to show 'Read More' button, this parameter you can find under the extension basic options tab.

Hi,
I was able to turn on the 'Read More' button within the slider (position 5) but when I clicked it, the browser started searching for the following:
http://mydomain.com/index.php/8-slider/149-no-suprise-slider
How do I create this article?

We have to see the page with your article and we need an access to your Joomla admin panel, the info please put in the Special Info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.

Hi,
The info has been placed in the Special Info area.
The target slider article is 'No Suprises (Alias: no-suprise-slide)' it is the last slider on the displayed page. I do have a standalone article called 'No Suprises (Alias: no-suprises) ' and it would be good if the slider could call this article.

The 'Read More' button can point on the same slider article only, means on the Full article text, the slider shows the article intro text and intro image and button points to the same article full text.
Our suggestion is to move the content/text of the article 'no-suprise' to 'no-suprise-slider'.

We think now we understand your problem, first of all your button was not visible, the solution is simple, for each such article you have to create a menu item, as example we created for you menu called Slider Articles and menu item No Surprises, please check.

The update does not have any critical fixes.
The latest version you have to download from your AS account and replace updated files accordingly to the release note:

Before any update please do not forget about backups.
