How do I change the selected button background of the main menu? I want to change it from the light blue to a dark blue. I've looked every where I could think of and can't find it.
I'd appreicate your help as fast as possible.

The menu colors you can change by editing ext.asmenu.css file or you can write your own css file and put it in the style.custom.css file.

Also, how do I change the black button color when I hover over a main menu item? I've looked throughout the CSS but haven't been able to find where to change this.

I have looked and cannot find the line that controls the color of the button when hovering over it as well as the color of the sublayer button hover.

Just unpublish it in the Joomla admin panel -> Extensions -> Module Manager, you can find it under position 11.
