I download the updated template 2055.
One week ago i installed the template with the quickstart-installation.
Now, i will only update the template and not the hole installation.
But when i go to the Extensionmanager and install the new template, i get a error.

Template Install: There is already a Template using the named directory: Install. Are you trying to install the same template again?

How can i UPDATE only the template? I thougt it has to be done with the extension manager and not with FTP.

Joomla doesn't allow update templates in such way, you have upload it via FTP only, in other words re-write installed one.

On another site i have a template from virtueplanet. And that template i can update with the extentionmanager!
But now i will update this template with FTP.
