when I changed the bootstrap it leaves a big gap between the logo and the menu bar even after resizing the logo. Now, how can I minimize the gap that I have there.

Unfortunately we was not able to connect your Joomla admin panel, we are receiving the following error message:
Cannot open file for writing log
But we think we know what kind of problem you have there, please download one more time the template package from your AS account, unzip it, from the extensions folder take the slider package and install it over the existing slider, means you do not need to uninstall the previous slider version, just install the new one.

well, I downloaded the template and I unziped the quickstart but I'm not seeing the extensions file from the quickstart.

You can find it in folder named 'extensions', file name: mod_as_artslider.zip, in the downloaded package after unzipping you can find template.zip file, quickstart.zip file, psd and extensions folders.
