I am trying to install the template using quick start process and the installation process is getting stuck on Installing sample data ?
The computer isn't connected to the internet - does it need to be ?

It means you are running it on your localhost, in the php.ini file please find 'max_execution_time' parameter and increase it to 300 or 3000
