Joomla! Template 002085 - Item Support

Menu & Slider Not Working

Hi,
I tried the free version of 2085 but did not like it so bought the full version.
1) Before the full version package was installed, the menu did not look right (it was stacked and either off to the left or in the centre of the page) but the page links all worked and opened the right pages.
After installing the full version and enabling the Superfish menu, the menu looks perfect but all the page links give a 404msg. Nothing seems to correct this and I have hit the limit of my patience.

2) The sequence slider on the home page does not work. Images stack instead of run parallel and don't move. There is a big black background that takes over the page with the images inside it no matter the size of the images; the bigger the image, the bigger the black block but even 150x150 has it. There were conflicting instructions on how to set this up so I have created 3 custom modules as as-slider then placed an image in each. This is the only way the images even showed up; trying it through the articles (different instructions) only resulted in the spinning wheel of death as it tried to load forever. I have disabled this but will enable it so you can see what I mean.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hello LDCCSITE,
1. Try to disable Search Engine Friendly URLs under your Global Configuration settings in your Joomla admin panel.
2. Did you check the slider documentation?

Hi AS Team,
Thank you for your reply.

1) Yes, I tried that already. No change. The pages are there but the menu can't "see" them. I tried going back to AS Menu but now it doesn't see the pages either.

2) These are the instructions I followed initially to set it up but it gives the never-ending loading wheel.
The only way to see any images is to put them in separate modules not articles, then they do appear but stacked vertically in the big black space.
I have both AS Sequence Slider and AS ArtSlider. I have tried both of these, enabling one while disabling the other then both enabled at the same time. Nothing works.

Thanks for your help.
Hello LDCCSITE,
For checking this issue we need an access to your Joomla admin panel, the access info please put in the Special info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.

Hi AS Team,

I've put the info in.

- Okay, I figured out most of the issues already and have it sort of working. The sequence slider is disabled right now as the Article Title won't go away despite making the article Global Config "don't show title" and the overlaying text is squished into a small area instead of being across the image like in the demo. One of the photos is just a placeholder right now, I know it's the wrong size.
- The footer contact info doesn't change its spacing even though I've changed it in the source code.
- I would like to narrow the padding between the sections on the home page. Can you tell me where to look for this, please?

Thanks again for you help!
Never got a reply from 4 days ago so ended up with a partial fix for the slider BUT the text is still squashed into a small area instead of being spread across the image. How do I fix this??

Footer contact info still not changing but at this point, I don't care anymore. This template has been far too much of a problem and wasted too much my time.

Padding is still too wide. Makes the page look barren. I would like to narrow this.
Hello LDCCSITE,
We found that you not installed this template using quick-start installation package. After installing the package your site will look exact like our demo preview page it will be easy for you to make changes in the content, preview all parameters and settings, the package installation will save days of your time. The quick-start package is actually the template documentation. If by some reason you can't install it on your live server you can install on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all settings.
The package should be installed like regular Joomla installation, here you can find some more info: https://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-documentation/436-002085

All the above changes can be done by editing existing css files or by adding your own in the style.custom.css file. You can easy determinate the file which should be changed and the css class by installing and using Firefox Web Development tools
https://developer.mozilla.org/son/docs/Tools or Firebug Lite for Google Chrome https://getfirebug.com/releases/lite/chrome/

Here you can find some info of using firebug tool:

Hi AS Team,
I have checked with our web guy and he swears he installed the quick-start package.
I have backed up the site with Akeeba. If I re-install the quickstart package now, will I lose all the work I've already done or will it simply update whatever is missing?
Thanks again, hope you're having a great weekend!
Hello LDCCSITE,
Yes, you will lose all your work.

Regards, AS Team.
