The module variation and typography you can preview by installing quick-start installation package only. The quick-start package is actually the template documentation. If by some reason you can't install it on your live server you can install it on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all settings.

It can be done by editing css files. You can easy determinate the file which should be changed and the css class using Development Tools:

Though, firefox no longer supports firebug the alternative the offer I have tried and I cannot find the file to edit: http://prntscr.com/h1bntz. My objective is to move the logo upward so that it does not cover the menu, also, I want to shift the item on module position as-bottom-header downward so that it does not cover the slider.
