What do you mean by: 'get rid of the black box to the lower left', on which page we can see it.
On the main page, the bottom black box that says worker insights.

It's not a problem, in the Menu manager of the featured article please put Leading articles and Intro articles to 0 (zero), please see the following page, first paragraph, steps 5-8:
I still like the 2034 template. Most of the parameters are self explanatory. So I´m able to adjust most of the template the way I intend it to.
But there are two things I can´t get done (yet):
1) The background color of my main-menü won´t switch from black to any other color (no matter what I put in the "General Configuration Parameters" of the template)
2) I can´t get rid of the dark shades in the "Welcome" module.
found out one thing by myself: I scrolled a bit through the template.css and searched the /images.
So for starters I changed images/bg.header.row3 to change the background of the "welcome" Message.
Still would appreciate answers to the other questions... :)

Hello there, I purchased one of your templates a week or two ago, template number as002034.
I seem to be having a massive issue with the slider feature on there. This has stressed me out a HUGE amount. I have tried adding my own pictures there in the format of .png, I have made the images exactly the same size (400x475px) and have left ALL of the other setting exactly the same.
However, when I 'save and close' then visit my website, I only see half of the image appearing. the top left half. I have read and re-read the documentation and done this step by step to a T and nothing seems to work.
