I would like to throw away the print and mail function (this with the gear-wheel).
I´d like to put the two icomoon icons for print and mail into the footer, where the copyright is. I know the place where I have to insert the code, but I don´t know what code. everything I tried, the icons doesn´t show.
can you help in this case please?

These icons you can see because you logged in as an administrator, this is a Joomla feature.
For any customization requests please use our services page: http://www.astemplates.com/services
But our suggestion is to install the template using quick-start installation package, after installing the package your site will look exact like our demo preview page and it will be easy for you to make changes in the content, preview all parameters and settings, it save days of your time. The quick-start package is actually the template documentation. If by some reason you can't install it on your live server you can install on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all settings.

This moment the site is local (xampp).
The original old version is
