Regarding changing the background color of the monthly newsleters inputbox; I presume you were referring to the "/templates/as002042/css/style.default.css". I did find the line "background-color: #272727;" and changed the color. I than used FTP to place the file back on the site. I refreshed the page and did not see any change. Is there anything else you must do to cause the page to accept changes or did I get the wrong file.

Yes, we checked your site, it still has an old color, probably you have some problems with FTP, you can try to change it via the Template Manager: Customise Template panel in your Joomla admin panel.
I use Joomla since years and there are a lot of modules and plugins... if I would install it complet new all the other things would be destroyed or not ?

If you will install just a template - nothing will be destroyed, if you will install joomla using the quick-start installation package in the same folder, in the same database and you will use the same prefix - yes, in this case it will be destroyed.
how to create this accordeon menu?
I've created a menu with three test entries, assigned it to position 7, accordeon is assigned to position 7 also and menu is selected in the options. But it shows up only as list, no accordeon. What I am doing wrong?

In the demo the following articles are visible:

You have to choose category in the Extension Parameters -> Filtering and Ordering -> Category.
than once more. I installed the template 2042 and every extention in the folder. If I want a horizontal menu in position 1 it doesn´t funktion. My menu appear in one vertikal row. AS Accordion Menu is aktiv. I tried to chnage this in any way, but I canot find out, where is my mistake?
Can you help me please ?

It appears as though the featured articles won't re-arrange. I have used Article Manager to re-order the articles using numbers, and I have used the up and down arrows as well; I did remember to click the disk icon to save the arrangement, but the visible order on the displayed page does not change. Any Ideas?

You can't put the accordion menu to the main menu, the accordion menu was originally designed as vertical menu, please see the accordion menu demo preview on the following page: http://www.astemplates.com/itemdetails.php?id=145
On the 'ABOUT US' page there is a gray box labeled 'OUR GOALS', I can't find a reference to this text in the 'About Us' article.
Where is the reference? How do I change it?

thanks the menu is working basically now, but no idea how to get the text into the sub-menu (like what appears when you open one of the accordeon tabs). It always show the name of the sub menu link but text (and read more button)
