Hello TOMBIERMANN,
You have to change left sidebar width, the parameter you can find under the template Sidebars Configuration Parameters tab in your Joomla admin panel Template manager page.
But you have to know that it will be changed on all pages.

Our suggestion is to install it using quick-start installation package, after installing the package your site will look exact like our demo preview page and it will be easy for you to make changes in the content, preview all parameters and settings. The quick-start package is actually the template documentation. If by some reason you can't install it on your live server you can install on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all settings.

Template as002044 is not compatible with Joombla 3.3.6. i can not add to menu and article.

It is fully compatible with the latest Joomla version.
Joomla template does not come with any demo content. Template is only predefined layout of possible modules positions including the main website graphics like header, logo or footer. If you installing the template without quick-start package you have to install and config all extensions, plugins, etc manually, all used extensions you can find on the following page: http://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-documentation/157-180-modules-configuration

Unfortunately I can not use the AS Artslider. When I publish the module on "as-POSITION5" the module displays only the "Load-icon"
What exactly does it mean "a combination of Articles Newsflash module and Camera Slideshow jQuery plugin"? I can only find a "JE Camera Slideshow" module but not a plugin?

I was able to turn on the 'Read More' button within the slider (position 5) but when I clicked it, the browser started searching for the following:

How do I create this article?

We have to see the page with your article and we need an access to your Joomla admin panel, the info please put in the Special Info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.
The info has been placed in the Special Info area.
The target slider article is 'No Suprises (Alias: no-suprise-slide)' it is the last slider on the displayed page. I do have a standalone article called 'No Suprises (Alias: no-suprises) ' and it would be good if the slider could call this article.

The 'Read More' button can point on the same slider article only, means on the Full article text, the slider shows the article intro text and intro image and button points to the same article full text.
Our suggestion is to move the content/text of the article 'no-suprise' to 'no-suprise-slider'.
Okay, I copied the content from the article 'no-suprise' and placed it under the read more section of the 'no-suprise-slider'; the browser is again searching for http://mydomain.com/index.php/8-slider/149-no-suprise-slider.
