Joomla! Template 002058 - Item Support

Actually, to be fair, in IE 10 and 11 the problem is the same with firefox.

The problems about IE that I mentioned, are mainly for IE 8, which unfortunatelly is the version that most people in my country use.
Hello EANDREOU92,
We are sorry, IE8 is too old version, it doesn't support CSS3 and HTML5, this template is based on HTML5 elements.

Regards, AS Team.
What about the issue for the images size ?
It still exists in firefox and IE 11..
Hello EANDREOU92,
What is the page url please?

Regards, AS Team.
I wrote it in the special info area in my account
Hello EANDREOU92,
On the home page everything looks fine except the logo.

Regards, AS Team.
Ok, thank you.

I changed the logo size and now it's ok.

But it's not the only page I face problems. In browsers other than Chrome, in the About us->services->(in all the submenus), the images again are too big. If I make them smaller, in other browsers are ok, but in Chrome they become too small.

Actually, I wanted to add a full article image, and if I do so, it's not showing. That's why I had to make table arrangements to have the result I wanted.

If you are able, please check if there is a way to add a full article image instead.

Thank you for your patience.
Hello EANDREOU92,
In your site source code we found the following:

<tr>
<td>
<img width="1550" height="1033" alt="chartered surveyors valuers" src="/images/chartered-surveyors-valuers.jpg">
</td>
<td>
</tr>

Where image width is 1550, that is a reason why images too big. Our suggestion is to use Joomla articles features like 'Images and Links', for more info please see the Joomla documentation:
https://help.joomla.org/proxy/index.php?option=com_help&keyref=Help33:Content_Article_Manager_Edit

Regards, AS Team.
Thank you. Yes I tried this but once again I had the same problem with the images size (in Chrome they were small so I had to make the size bigger and then in other browsers they were too big).

Why the full article image is not working?
Hello EANDREOU92,
It will work for you if you create your articles with images as we suggested in our previous post.

Regards, AS Team.
I finally did it !
Thank you very much for your help and your patience!
I´d like to have the items in the modul asmenu with letters in capitel and lowercase. i changed like in the post of 2014-01-03:

For capitalizing the menu items you have to edit ext.asmenu.css file,
please find the following class (line 21):

#as-menu ul.as-menu > li a,
#as-menu ul.as-menu > li > span
{
color: #FFFFFF !important;
display: block;
font-weight: normal;
letter-spacing: 1px;
line-height: 20px;
margin: 0;
padding: 0 5px;
}

and add this property:

text-transform: capitalize

that means:
#as-menu ul.as-menu > li a,
#as-menu ul.as-menu > li > span
{
color: #FFFFFF !important;
display: block;
font-weight: normal;
letter-spacing: 1px;
line-height: 20px;
margin: 0;
padding: 0 5px;
text-transform: capitalize;
}

But this works only for the first level. The sub items still in lowercase.

Example: www.relocationplus.de

Thanks for your support.
Hello KLEEBERG,
You can do it in the following class:

#as-menu ul.as-menu ul li a,
#as-menu ul.as-menu ul li span
{
background-image: none !important;
color: #999 !important;
margin: 0;
text-transform: lowercase;
}

You can easy determinate the file which should be changed and the css class by installing and using Mozilla or Opera Fireblug plugin:

Hello AS Templates,

now it works correctly with the parameter
text-transform: none;

Thanks

Hi

I would like to set up my template AS002058 in such a way that when I click on a read-more button below an article showed in one of the modules in position6 or in "Special services" section of the home page then the article is not showed anymore in the home-page but in a different to enable be using the module assignments to configure the page layout when the articles are presented.
My purpose is to make appear the article right below the slider in position 5 (i.e. without the modules placed in position-6); at the moment I'm not able to achieve this effect because the article is showed in a page which is seen as the home page hence it maintains the modules assigned to position-5.

Thank you for your support.

Regards,
Florina
Hello FLORINA,
You have to create a menu item for your article, then you will be able to assign needed modules to the page with your article.

Hi,

I would like to change the blue color of the header, the part before the content area. Where can I find in css please?
Hello WAREBLADE,
You can do it in the tmpl.default.css file in the following class:

#header-top-wrapper {
background-color: #172236;
background-image: url("../images/bg.header.shadow.png");
background-position: center top;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
z-index: 10000;
}

You can easy determinate the file which should be changed and the css class by installing and using Mozilla or Opera Fireblug plugin:
https://getfirebug.com/
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/firebug-lite-button/

Regards, AS Team.
Thanks team, I have changed these lines a lot of times without results by I think the problem is I was using chrome and i won't use it anymore hehehe
Hello WAREBLADE,
If it happens only with one browser it means you have caching enabled in the browser, try to clear the cache and we believe everything will be OK.
