We checked your site, we do not see any installed sample data, can you please provide us with an access to your Joomla admin panel for checking this issue? The access info please put in the Special info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.

Our suggestion is completely reinstall the package, probably it was corrupted, please download the full package from your AS account one more time and install the quick-start package on your site accordingly to the template documentation: http://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-documentation/238-002066

I'm trying to setup AS ART Slider which I purchased with this template, but without luck:

PS. I would like also to use simple contact form without Google Maps Plugin - but using in default standard Menu item "Contacts » Single Contact" doesn't work anymore.

Our suggestion is to install it using quick-start installation package, after installing the package your site will look exact like our demo preview page and it will be easy for you to make changes in the content, preview all parameters and settings. The quick-start package is actually the template documentation. If by some reason you can't install it on your live server you can install on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all settings.
