Thanks for your advice. I used the default setting (900 px). Now I changed it to 702px, it's ok.
To avoid other 'problems' I would like to use the 'quick-start installation package' as you recommended. If I understand well (from the 'HOW TO' pages) the 'quick-start installation package' also contains the Joomla application. On the other side my provider strongly recommends to use Installatron to install applications.
I'm not so familiar with all settings and interactions between Joomla, MySQL and PHP, and in this case also with Installatron's backup and update functions. Could you advise me how to use the 'quick-start installation package' in combination with Installatron?

You can create a custom HTML module and publish it in the position-0. Probably you will need to create your css, because this position is designed for search module only.
Hello, I bought this template and am quite happy with it. However, I am wondering if there is any way to use a different logo on pages that are not the front page. The front page has plenty of room for my logo, but will not fit into the area on other pages. I've edited the margins and padding in the templates but that moves everything else out of line. Thank you.

Hello, I've got a problem with the footer: when the website is opened on a mobile device, it doesn't extend for the whole width of the page, it leaves on the right about 20 white pixels..

You have too old template version, our suggestion is update the template to the latest version, please make backup before you are going to update the template, or please add the following just after opening <head> tag in the template index.php file:

Our suggestion is insall the template using the quick-start installation package so you will not have such problems.
The slider should be published in the module position 'slider', then you should config it using the AS Nivo slider parameters, currently you have put the slider width to 900px, instead 702px.
It is now working fine. I didn't even check the params of the module thinking it would be set different then the demo, so I went in and updated and now it works great! Thanks so much for a prompt reply!

i looked @ the css files. I changed the png into a tranparant file and a white file still it will not change
