I am trying to create a menu item with the Gallery View layout, similar to your "Our Services" menu item in the demo. When I choose the Gallery View layout for an existing menu item, though (which already has the category and subcategories set up for it), the front-end of that menu item will just be an error page saying "500 - Layout gallery_item not found."
I bought the template last year and have been greatly enjoying it. It looks like the Gallery View on the admin back-end is linking to index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=as002060free:gallery&id=83 whenever I choose Gallery View. Looking in cPanel, I have both the as002060 and as002060free templates installed, each of which has a gallery_item.php file, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
Can you please help me figure out why I'm getting this error page?
Thank you,
Jackie

Okay, I have renewed my license. My question remains the same, though I now realize the issue may be related to having as002060free and as002060 files in cPanel but only having as002060 installed as a template within Joomla... Can you please help me with this issue related to Gallery View? Thank you.

Your template directory is not writable, please be sure you have set all files permissions on your server to 755.

Hi AS Team,
I think I have resolved this issue in terms of the permissions. I changed permissions for the templates folder, the as002060 and as002060free folders, and the logs folder. I'm no longer getting that error message within Extensions Manger - let me know if that works so that you can edit the template. If not, let me know which specific files within the template you need to change and I can change the permissions for each file.
Thanks,
Jackie

Hello JACKIERENEEPARKE,
We are not sure, but probably it doesn't work because some files were changed or corrupted during installation. To check it we prepared for you a new template, it was sent to your email address, and tried to install, but again received error message:

Maybe the gallery is not working because of permissions on your server, please install the new template which was sent to your email address and check your gallery.

Hello JACKIERENEEPARKE,
The new template you have to install like regular template installation via Joomla extension manager, we renamed it so you will not conflict with your default 002060 template.

Thank you for all of your help. I installed the new template version using extension manager, then assigned that template to the one menu item I was having problems with when trying to use Gallery View. That seems to be working so far, in the sense that I don't have the error page anymore: http://jackieparke.com/index.php/writing/book-reviews
