The free version of the template has a bug in the "AS Article Newsflash" module. It has wrong helper.php file (from the sequence slider slider). This causes a PHP error:
Fatal error: Class 'modArticlesNewsAdvHelper' not found in /<...>/modules/mod_as_articles_newsflash/mod_as_articles_newsflash.php on line 23
