What is your site url please? Have you installed it using quick-start installation package?
After installing the package your site will look exact like our demo preview page and it will be easy for you to make changes in the content, preview all parameters and settings. The quick-start package is actually the template documentation. If by some reason you can't install it on your live server you can install on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all settings.

Sorry, if you installed this template using quick-start installation package you do not need to install one more time the template and all modules, all the data is already included in the quick-start package.
At the position 7 (GV News), I want to have more than 6 articles.
I added some in the content under the category hot deals, but they are not showing.
Where do I make the changes, so that the limit can be raised from 6 to 10.

Did you try to use the extension Article layout parameters?
I checked the Article Layout, but there is no such option.
There are these options:
Amount of news in the Portal Mode :3
Amount of pages with arts : 3
Amount of columns: 3
Amount of rows :1

How do I change the background color of this "Position: as-position-1 [ Style: themeHtml5 outline]" Firebug is unable to show the path to its color
