I am integrating Virtuemart 2.0 into our site and in some user fields the design gets broken and certain buttons are not displayed properly or not displayed at all.
I have tried all the other templates that come with Joomla and they all work fine. As soon as I select AS002031 the user registration part of the site does not display properly. It has something to do with the way CSS for administation forms/user forms is done but I can not find a way to fix it.

I understand that you don't provide support for 3rd party stuff, but this is a problem with the template css.
I would be tremendously thankful if you could provide a hack/fix to get my buttons to show and display properly. Thanks.

This template is not a VirtueMart template, there is no css at all for the VirtueMart. Sorry, about that.
In few days we are releasing a new template which will be very similar to the current template and support VirtueMart.

In the module position 60 we have published AS Moo Slider, our suggestion is install the template using the quick-start installation package, after installing it you will receive ALL codes and settings of ALL modules used in this template.
I removed all the sample articles, but now I am not sure how to place my content in the area that says "Welcome...Services...Bestsellers" (in demo preview). I don't see a module position for this area?

The best way is install the template using the quick-strat installation package, otherwise you will need to learn a lot about Joomla installation :)
