Hello DALTAN75,
Please make sure that you select only the module positions contained in the ecotech template. You can do this by filtering out the module positions which are not contained in the template that you have set default. For example in your case, when you are selecting the position, choose ecotech template from the drop down menu and then select the position you'd like to use from the ones appearing.
Hi,
I am referring to my question which I have posted on 2012-10-13. I need to deactivate (!) the layout for mobile devices. The layout might be responsive but I don't like the look at all. We want our webpage to look just normal as in any other web browser. And this not the case. E. g. the menus are shown in a special view for mobile devices.
In your answer you have explained that I don't have to apply additional settings for mobile view to be generated. But this is not the answer I need. I want to deactivate or switch off (!) the mobile view.
How would I do that?
Thanks,
Uwe

Hello CONSULTNET,
You can deactivate the responsive layout from the admin panel of your template. Please go to the ecotech template, then profiles and choose "no" for the responsive layout.
I don't seem to get any solution for your asked questions:
1. I configured the database, user and password correctly but i can't access my backend with the used password.
Is the something i needed to know to help me solved this problem please?

Hello BOYTITUS,
The security issues are not caused by the template but by the joomla installation package. Please make sure that you note down the password you used while installing the quickstart. All our quickstart packages come without the configuration.php file. This means that it is you to set up a new password.
I'm waiting on your respond to begin using my newly installed template from the backend/administrator i don't just know what could the problem be because i have stall more joomla and never experience such problem by access denial from the backend.
I'm getting alot of errors when trying to install the extensions supplied with the theme. I have listed the files below and the error message i'm getting. I'm new to joomla so any help would be much appreciated.

I've rolled back and installed a clean version of 2.5.8 and it works fine. Just not with the latest version.
Do you have a copy of the mySql database for this theme for 2.5.8 as I would like to make our site a replica of the template you display here http://www.primertemplates.com/ecotech/ before I start to add our own data.
Thanks
